Electric Car Information
We have a 7Kw electric vehicle charger for use by guests and staff only.
It is not metered, so we currently charge £2.50 per hour or part thereof, to cover cost of supply. Unfortunately there is no parking at the hostel so the vehicle needs to be moved once charging is complete.
Booking is essential so please let us know in advance if you anticipate using the charger and we will reserve you a slot.

It’s not every day that Gandalf, Frodo and friends turn up in Elterwater, but this fellowship brought plenty of laughter and fun to the Hostel this past weekend.
Walking the Cumbria Way in full costume, they joined us for a well earned evening of food, drinks and laughter, and a good rest!
Those costumes also got a much needed airing in the drying room 🤣
